The other 2 costumes I worked on this Halloween... mine as Little Mermaid and my other sister's as Morticia Adams, (her boyfriend dressed up as Homer Adams).

I LOVE this idea for making a mermaid tail. If you already have a green slitted maxi skirt (which, of course, I don't ha) you can use that, so easy. I've been planning on being a mermaid but this trumps all my tail ideas so far. I am going to make something to this affect, very excited! Thanks for the inspiration :)
