Spring was all about the color blocking, and one of the combination of colors I loved at first sight was pink and red. It's great that it will still be a trend this upcoming fall season.
Today I made an appereance on a local morning show on t.v.; I discuss fashion and trends the first Tuesday of each month and this time I talked about Fall trends to watch. This is what I wore, totally channeling the pink+red trend.
(red dress from EXPRESS, pink belt from Charlotte Russe, rings by Forever 21, vintage gold bracelet, nude platforms by Halston for Bakers shoes)You can pair these colors with black shoes or accessories, like Prabal Gurung did on his latest collection, or you can go for nude, gold, silver, even phyton print shoes!
As you can see I chose nude platforms for this look, thought it would be more appropriate for a day look; maybe at night I'll go for huge black statement platforms.
