I've always loved Little Women by Louisa May Alcott... there's something about Jo that not only I've always felt identified with, but also found mesmerizing about her... I can't imagine Louisa creating such a strong, vivid and remarkable character.

Last weekend, something happened that reminded me of this scene so much... when Laurie proposes to Jo and she refuses him; she breaks his heart and by that, her heart breaks too.

She would have loved to say "yes".. but she couldn't, Laurie is her best friend... she'd never try to hurt him, though she ends up doing it anyway... she's devastaded and for that decides to leave and start a new life some place else...

Maybe it's time for me to run away too...

Patti Smith became a pirate?

I must have missed something for I did not know rockstars were into becoming pirates nowadays.. first Keith Richards and now, on the fourth pirates movie, Patti Smith... will Ozzy Osbourne make it to the fifth???

I'm digging Patti as a pirate though... I'm really looking forward to this movie since I'm a huge fan of these movies.
