Ladies, prepare to raid your grandmother’s closet because this spring, the 50’s style is back. And what was the aesthetic in that era you might wonder; well it’s all about the hourglass silhouette: a tiny waste and flattering curvy shape.
This trend has been making a comeback since fall 2010, or don’t you remember that beautiful lady-like outfits that walked down the Louis Vuitton runway during Autumn-Winter fashion week that year?
The 50’s have slowly been reviving and this year, retro is hot!
The madness with the Mad Men series probably inspired designers into incorporating looks of this decade, or probably it was the anticipated movie of “My week with Marilyn”; either way, odds are you’ll be singing to the tunes of Grease musical all summer long.
