vogue writer

(photo via we heart it)
I'm sure you recognize the scene of the photo above; it's from the movie that made those sparkling ruby red slippers iconic; from that moment, red shoes will always remind us that "there's no place like home".

Luckily for us, there's no need to travel all the way to Oz in order to get us a pair of marvelous red shoes; many designers and stores have provided us with amazing alternatives, it's like they are magical wizards too.

I came across these 2 amazing red platforms from Natacha Marro and DUNE... I think I'd feel like Dorothy wearing them and I'd tap my heels more than three times for sure.

Do you own a garment or piece of clothing that reminds you of a song?, an experience?, an actress?, an event?... I'm sure you've thought about this too, giving "life" to objects.

Every piece has a story and there is a new site that wants to help you tell those stories.
It's called VOGUE WRITER.

VogueWriter is a new fashion community aimed at telling the stories behind each piece of clothing. Members write musings on-top of clothing and outfits to inspire each otherʼs style. A little black dress might say “first date at the opera with leopard coat” to one person and “bachelorette party 2012 in Vegas” to another.

Knowing how and where other fashionistas would rock an item can help you incorporate new looks into your own wardrobe.

Those who share their stories will be rewarded with deep discounted sales from up-andcoming
designers and brands.

The site is really cool, I encourage you all to visit and see for yourselves; you can click the items all the other vogue writers are uploading, get the scoop on where to buy them, sales, discounts; comment, "like" and share your thoughts about your own favorite items, among other things.

You can use my unique promo code to enter: voguewriter.moonlover.25. It will give you immediate access when signing up.

I don't know about you guys, but I've always wanted to be a vogue writer...
