I actually liked the fact these photos came out blurry.. must be the hot tangerine color clashing against the sun and the camera flash.

I made this dress due to the fact I needed something tangerine since it is said to be the color of the year! (read my previous post) and also wanted an asymmetrical garment.. do you own any piece tangerine or asymmetrical?..if not.. what are you waiting for?..join the trend before it dies!

Yellow is also one of the major colors of the seaon and Nicole Richie is always wearing the hottest trends so no wonder she chose this yellow dress by Julien McDonald to attend the Fashion Star premiere.

Elizabeth Banks looked gorgeous at London's Hunger Games premiere in this bright colored, sequined chiffon gown by Bill Blass... I'm definitely loving the back of this dress..a lot!

Would you wear a yellow dress? ..people always seem a bit affraid of the color.. I'd wear it if it's a neon yellow because these hues don't go well with my skin tone, my flesh becomes yellow as well.. not a nice look.

Who can get away with yellow tones?... girls with a great tan or bronze colored skin tone, non-pale blondes and brunettes, red heads and of course..dark colored girls; these last ones can totally rock yellow.

I was so happy when my march issue of NYLON arrived home; I'm always looking forward to receiving that magazine since it's my favorite; and I was even happier when I realized they had published my email on their "Dear Nylon" section... coolness!

Trend report: tangerine

"Tangerine! ..juicy and seedless" as Clementine Kruczynski was called by boyfriend Joel Barish, after dying her hair in such vibrant color on the movie "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" (2004); well, seems the excitement will spread as soon as you see the pieces that walked on the runway in this same exact orange-charged shade.

And not only movies and fashion are paying a tribute to this radiant color, but also the Pantone Color Institute; which has named “Tangerine Tango” the 2012 color of the year. “Sophisticated but at the same time dramatic and seductive, Tangerine Tango is an orange with a lot of depth to it,” said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute®.

What more encouragement to wear such energetic color do you need? Tangerine is definitely the most vivacious color of the season.
